How to make a homemade tassel

How to make a simple wool tassel.

In this post I will show you how to make a tassel with only wool and scissors. You can use these tassels for many things, for example, tiebacks, room decoration, bag or zipper tie.

You will need:

  • Wool
  • Scissors

Method:

1. Collect everything that you will need
2. Take the wool and place it between your fingers
3. Wrap the wool around your fingers
4. Cut a piece of wool
5. Take the wool off your fingers and place it on the table like so
6. Take the piece of wool and thread it through all the loops
7. Tie the piece of string
8. Take another piece of string and tie through the middle
9. Finally cut all the bottom loops and now you have a finished tassel
